The software provides two ways to issue invoices:
  • issuing an extended fiscal receipt.
  • issuing a fiscal receipt by invoice number from the Web application.

This article focuses mainly on cash invoices processed through the cash register. For bank transfer invoices, see the link above.

More specifically, we will focus on invoices canceled through the cash register/printer. These are invoices the client prepares through the quick sales module.

Question: Why does the cash register/printer print a canceled fiscal receipt after I issue an invoice through the quick sales module?

Answer: There are two reasons

  • Communication between the two devices is disrupted.
  • Incorrectly entered item and payment master data.

Our cash register communication logs show the following percentages:

    • In 99 % of cases, the fiscal device cancels the receipt when communication is lost (cable or Bluetooth).
    • 1% are incorrectly entered data
    • 0 % software error
Attention!

Loss of communication is caused by several factors, none of which relates to the software controlling the cash register/printer or the fiscal device itself!

The causes are mainly hardware issues involving connectors, interfaces and cables, or software that disables USB ports to save energy.

Please pay attention to your hardware and maintain it preventively. The I-CASH team advises resolving any potential faults even after a single occurrence, as otherwise they may lead to recurring system failures.
