- the name must identify at least the type of goods/services;
- where goods of the same type are sold at different prices, each item is shown separately on the fiscal receipt with its corresponding value;
These changes required every retailer to reprogram their cash register with more complete identifying names for each item. This means anyone working solely with a cash register must enter long item codes at the time of sale.
