Loyalty programs
The benefits of loyalty programs are well established. Customers of I-CASH can use one of the classic versions of these programs, allowing your customers to collect points and convert those points into money. The software offers two ways to earn points:
I Earn points as you accumulate turnover
We begin by configuring a pricing rule for turnover points. Go to Goods – Pricing rules – Add new pricing rule. Enter a name for the pricing rule and select a sequence number. Then choose turnover points from the type dropdown. Enter the number of points and the turnover amount at which they will be added. Activate the rule and save it.
Navigate to Settings – Company – Payment methods – Add new payment method. Enter the cash register code, followed by the payment name and payment type (points). Enter a conversion factor specifying the monetary value of one point and save the new payment method.
With these settings prepared, the program will launch your campaign.
How does it work? Each customer will begin accumulating purchase turnover and, based on that turnover, points according to criteria you set. In the web interface, you can track each customer's points under Reports – Other – Points or in the customer's record. At any later time, the customer can pay using the points accumulated in their account. To do so, select the payment method Paid with points, or the name given to this payment method during configuration, in the quick sales module and enter how many points the customer wishes to spend.
These campaigns run for a set period and can be deactivated at any time. Customers receive current information about their accumulated points when they receive their cash receipt.
II Earn points by buying items
We begin by configuring a pricing rule for item points. Go to Goods – Pricing rules – Add new pricing rule. Enter a name for the pricing rule and select a sequence number. Then select item points from the type dropdown. You have three options: the first is to set a number of points per number of items purchased, so the pricing rule applies to all items. The second is to select only a group of items whose purchase earns a certain number of points. The third is for the purchase of each item to earn a different number of points.
Once the pricing rule is ready, configure the payment method in the same way described above.
How does it work? The system is similar to the first option, but here points accumulate based on the number of items purchased multiplied by the points set according to the retailer's criteria. You can track them in the report and reset them after the campaign ends.
