“REMOTE POS”—What is it?
“REMOTE POS” is a feature that lets every employee enter items, print fiscal receipts and remotely send non-fiscal slips to kitchen or bar staff, even from their own or company mobile phone.
REMOTE POS – How does it work?
You need one device on which to install the first main quick sales module (POS). It communicates with the technical equipment: cash register, non-fiscal printer and more.
You can then activate an additional quick sales module (POS) for each workstation and install it on an Android device (phone/tablet). After this mode is enabled, every additional quick sales module (POS) sends information to the main quick sales module, which then passes it to the hardware: cash register, non-fiscal printer, etc.
REMOTE POS – demonstration
Example:
You own a restaurant and employ three waiters. Two work shifts and share a company tablet. The third uses a mobile phone. Your restaurant has one cash register and two non-fiscal printers, one at the bar and the other in the kitchen.
The cash register and non-fiscal printers are synchronized through a laptop with the I-CASH cash register module installed.
Employee 1 uses the company tablet, while employee 2 uses a mobile phone. Employee 1 serves table 1. On the tablet, they select table 1, enter the customer's order and automatically send it to the kitchen and bar. Your kitchen and bar staff receive their slips from the non-fiscal printers, while the bill remains open. As the manager, you can view the open bill on the main POS.
Employee 2, working on a mobile phone, sees that table 1 is occupied and cannot enter orders for it.
Employee 1 can similarly print a fiscal receipt and complete the operation. You can also complete it from the main POS.
