Introducing the euro in I-CASH retail and inventory software

Dear clients and colleagues,
Regarding the introduction of the euro in the Republic of Bulgaria, we would like to inform you that I-CASH Retail and Inventory Software is ready for the phased transition to the new currency, in accordance with Bulgarian and European legislation.
Expected actions
We are currently awaiting fiscal device readiness, so we can activate the new functionality in the system. Over the coming weeks, the necessary cash register updates will undergo approval separately for each model. This procedure follows the requirements of Ordinance No. N-18 of 2006, amended and supplemented in SG No. 42 of 23.05.2025 and The Act on the Introduction of the Euro in the Republic of Bulgaria, published in State Gazette No. 70 of 20.08.2024, amended and supplemented in No. 25 of 25.03.2025.
Check your email! When a fiscal device model is approved, you will receive notification email with update instructions. When you see your fiscal device model, please carefully follow the instructions provided, to update I-CASH retail and inventory software.
What should you expect after fiscal devices are updated?
After updating your fiscal device and following our instructions:- Your the software updates automatically without our intervention;
- The software will sends commands to the fiscal device in two currencies: BGN and EUR, in accordance with dual pricing rules;
- The update of fiscal devices will be one-time, covering all requirements relating to the introduction of the euro, expected on 1 January 2026;
